An article about the 1919 Realart Pictures corp. production of "Anne of Green Gables" featuring Mary Miles Minter. Joanne E. Wood did a lot of research on the film using stills, film review, and L.M. Montgomery's journals in order to piece together the plot of the movie. Wood presents what she has discovered happens with comparisons to the book and commentary from Montgomery's journal. She also includes the names of the actors, director, screenwriter, and photography for readers. Near the end of the article she brings up the death of the director of the film, William Demond Taylor, and what Montgomery wrote about it in her journal.
