Abstract
A book about the murder of silent film director William Desmond Taylor based on film director King Vidor's findings. Taylor was the director of Realart Pictures Corp.'s 1919 film adaptation of "Anne of Green of Gables" starring Mary Miles Minter. She was drawn into the controversy surrounding his death, which supposedly contributed to her retiring from acting. Mentions of Mary Miles Minter occur throughout the book along with several photographs.
